There is an interesting tidbit here. Look to the right of the main building and notice the windmill and water tank. This was the school's water supply, and was located more or less where the Red Building was.

This is a meeting house picture that was on the Locust Valley Leader front page in 1963. I was tempted to use this as the opening picture for our website; As I have grown older, I have found progressively more comfort in simple and forthright things like a meetinghouse.
